Car Rental Perth Airport

For those that visit the island nation of Australia, they know that landing here is full of excitement and trepidation for the vacation ahead. Landing at Perth Airport is no different. You’ll likely see the blue hues of the Indian Ocean from above, before touching down in the capital of Western Australia.

Perth is a gorgeous city. With hot, dry summers and mild wet winters, Perth is the sunniest capital city in Australia! With clear blue skies an incredible 70% of the year, we know that whenever you visit, you’ll have a great time.

Thankfully, you’ll be able to maximise your time to explore Perth and its surrounding regions by booking ahead with Dollar. We’re located at Perth Airport, so we’re easy to find and practical for your arrival to the city. We’re sure that you’ll have a fantastic time while visiting Perth, and you can do it with ease thanks to your Dollar rental.

The City of Perth with Dollar

Perth is a city full of vibrant culture and history.

To get the best views of the city, we recommend driving to Kings Park and Botanic Gardens before taking in the sights from the top of Mount Eliza. Visited by over 5 million people each year, Kings Park is the most popular tourist attraction in Western Australia. And, it’s clear to see why, with an unrivalled view of the city, Kings Park is a must-do while staying in Perth. While here, make sure to stroll through the gardens: home to over 324 native plant varieties, 215 known indigenous fungi species and 80 bird species, it’s a nature reserve unlike any other.

Another great attraction of Perth is the beaches. While the hustle and bustle of the main city are always eventful, the beaches of Perth are rugged and wild. With bright blue oceans and white sand, you’ll easily find yourself coming back for plenty of beach-filled days.

Cottesloe Beach is one of the most famous stretches of beach in Perth. Renowned for its fantastic snorkelling and swimming opportunities, this kilometre-long stretch of white sand is a favourite amongst visitors and tourists alike. It’s just a 30-minute drive from Perth city centre, so we recommend coming here for at least a half-day if you can. Perhaps stay for sunset and watch the sun dip into the Indian Ocean while you enjoy dinner at either The Blue Duck or Barchetta.

Nambung National Park from Perth

While you’re in Western Australia, you’ll likely want to venture from the city and into the more remote areas. Thankfully, you can do that with ease with your Dollar rental. One of the most popular day trips from Perth is Nambung National Park, home to the Pinnacles.

You can get to Nambung National Park via State Route 60: it’s a two-hour drive along the coast which makes it the perfect spot for a day trip. The Pinnacles are one of the most visited areas of the national park thanks to their eerie appearance and interesting history. Formed approximately 25,000 to 35,000 years ago, these natural limestone structures are a fascinating insight into the ancient history of Australia. For full impact, we recommend visiting at sunset - the shadows formed from these structures are uniquely beautiful and make for a perfect photo.

Perth is a city that will captivate your attention from the moment you arrive. Home to some of the most beautiful sunsets, this city always has something going on and has incredible nature right at its doorstep. We can’t wait to welcome you to your Western Australian adventure, with Dollar.
